Had the opportunity to take an ifisher to one of my favorite evening spots today. WSU, didn't get him into any Steelhead but did manage a few Trout, mostly left over Rainbows but in that current they felt like hogs, the evening was great,a cool breeze and some high clouds aside from a couple of drift boats and one lone Fly fisher it was all ours......here are a few pictures hope you can enjoy them as much as we did...... Always a pleasure to take a ifisher fishing, seem to bring good luck with them.

Boy, Leaburg sure brings back some memories. When I was still married 25 years ago we used to go to Leaburg dam and bobber fish, float them from the dead line till the dam, we caught some beautiful trout. What a great fishery it was, we used to hang out with the dam keeper who was into "Roller Pigeons" I think they were called. He used to hold them in a ball then roll them, maybe they they were "tumblers"? Then they would flap their wings and keep tumbling, very cool.
Another great memory, thanks.

Sorry, I got so tied up in the memory thing I forgot to say thanks for posting the great pictures, nice fishy!

Hey Al, we still need to hook up and do some Trout fishing. Make a trip down here, and let me know when....I can't guaranty any hogs, but I can guaranty a great time and some nice memoirs. Trout talk, and some good fishing lies. Tight lines.

Chuck

Hey Chuck,
Sounds like a plan, I love the area down there and I'm sure the captain/guide has many great stories. I lived in Eugene for about a year while I worked at Sacred Heart and had a chance to fish lots of water in the area. I guess if it's water it's always good but that area is especially nice.
