wind troller

Just got back from spending a few days at Crane, I have never been there this time of the year so the break in the weather was a real treat and I had to go somewhere. The mornings were "very" cool but the mid-day and evenings were awesome. Fishing was poor for me, only caught a 4lb to 5lb bass while I was doing a wind troll for trout one evening.
I marked lots of fish but they were lock-jawed, I even tried changing patterns/lures every 20 minutes all day but no takers?
Camping was good, lots of room and no crowds. I met some great folks at the Quinn campground and have many memories of another great outing.
