Well, tomorrow is a big day for us. She has a MRI, appts with the cancer doc and neurologist.. to check the growth of the brain tumor: then a load of heart test.. EKG, ECHO and Chest X ray to make sure the heart procedure worked 100%.

I am not worried about the heart stuff. I feel sure that went well and no further treatments are necessary.

But the brain tumor is another world that I just wish did not exist for us.

Please pray for her. She is such a sweet little angel. She has already been thru so much. She deserves a break.

God Bless all of you,
Lynda

It was a long day. We got there before 9 and didn't leave until just after 5pm. We were able to enjoy Portland rush hour at it's best both ways. The sitting in waiting rooms about drove us both batty. I know now why I gained 20 lbs when she was first put into the hospital. I think I gained 5 today just sitting on my rear all day.

I am still in shock over the MRI results. I had hoped they would say "no significant change, see you in 6 months." But to have them say they thought the tumor was smaller, it was definately less pronounced than the MRI in April... well, my eyes instantly filled up with tears. Both of the doctors were so happy. I know it is good! I had prayed that the tumor would just disappear. I will keep praying!

The cardiologist said "Dr. Barber's procedure cured her heart defect." They don't even want to see her for any further follow ups!

For the first time in 18 months, I feel like she is really going to be okay. There are no words to describe my relief!

Thanks to everyone and keep praying because I would love for them to say there is no sign of the tumor at all!
