It must be broken arm season. My granson broke his last Saturday on play equipment, but doesn't need surgery. Give her extra hugs and a bag of goodies to take to the hospital.

Keta...so sorry to hear about your daughter's broken arm. I'll pray for a quick recovery. Are you still in Bremerton? I spent my hitch in the Navy there, working at the Naval Hospital Emergency Room (1966-1968)
GP,
It looks like we might be in Bremerton semi permanatly. Lots of work at PSNS.

Glad to hear about the work...I know that makes you feel better. If you get down this way in September or October give me a call and we'll go fly fishing for Steelhead. All work and no fly fishing is not a good thing!

Keta, we've got to get ALL of you well and keep you that way. Sorry to hear about your daughter, and hope the surgery goes smoothly. I'm not so far away - is there anything I can do to help?

Wow Keta, sorry to hear of the mis-hap. Bummer end to the tuna day. How's she doing?
That's good news about the work deal too. Glad to hear about it.
The doctor had a hard time getting the ball back in place on the arm bone and it came off when he was restraining her arm. 2-1/2 hrs in the OR and now she is on the mend. She has two pins in her arm and is hurting, but she'll heal. Thanks all.
Skein,
When are we going fishing? The Umpqua opens soon but I have a week and a half of home work before heading back north to work. It's been hard to keep away from the tuna.

Ouch! That sounds like it hurts! I broke both my arms when I was a kid. I feel for her! But kids tend to mend fast. Hope she has a speedy recovery!

Keta,
What's new with your daughter? Is she doing okay? How's everyone else doing? Bremerton is a long way from Klamath Falls, so if you or yours need anything that I can help with, let me know.

Skein,
I took an extra week off and I am spending it in KF. Anna is doing well considering. She's been moving around quite a bit and using her left arm for things.
Thanks for the offer.
Things got bad. The doctor x-rayed Anna's arm today and the ball has slipped out of the socket. She goes back for more surgery this week. :depressed:

Keta, time for a report. How is Anna doing?
Is there anything we can do to help?

She's doing much better. She showed me the cuts (future scars) and they don't look too bad. She is up and moving around and learning to do things left-handed.
Thanks to all for your concern.
