My Dad, Jerrell Dean Lewis, passed away today. we're heading out the door to my folks house. we were blessed, and able to see him this weekend, say our goodbyes and tell him we love him, got home yesterday and my brother got there and was able to se him also. please say some prayers for my mom and especially my sister, she didnt make it in time from So. Cal in time to see him and she is taking it pretty hard.

we laid my father to rest on september 25th. he was one of our nations youngest WW2 veterans,having lied about his age, forging his parents signature, and joining the navy at the age of 14. he was a hard man, who lived a hard life,who is loved by and will be missed by his family.
Thank you Dad, for the lessons learned, I will always remember, and Honor You!!

Bart, I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. Dads are very special people in our lives. I lost my Dad 16 years ago and have never stopped thinking about all the ways he guided and affected my life. To me he was perfection in his own way. Always cherish the good memories and give thanks that you had a Dad to look up to.

thnk you all for your prayers, they mean alot to me and my family, your continued prayers for my mother,June, would be greatly appreciated, she is the strongest women I know, But I still worry about her.
