I'm stumped and I need to consult the collective knowlegde of all you experts.
I have access to 3 farm ponds that are all close together and other people have access too.
There are some big largemouths in there and Crappie, Bluegill and Bullhead Catfish.
A few of the others that fish it say they recently saw people with a bucket of nice sized Crappie and Bluegill slabs(most are fishing for Bass.)
Each time I go, I catch only very small Bluegills and very small largemouths but, what I really want to catch is the bigger Bluegill and Crappie.
These are small ponds(3-5 acres each)no lilly pads just shore weeds and avg depth is 15ft but heard there are 25-30 ft holes and I'm shore fishing(no boats allowed)
I've fished all around the shores for them! Near the weeds, just beyond the weeds, IN the weeds, along steep embankments etc...
I usually use 1/32-1/8 oz Crappie jigs sometimes w/ a small piece of worm on it.
I've tried it with and with out bobber and leader from anywhere of 12" to 5 ft and still nothing but dinks!
I have also used hooks with just a piece of worm or a whole worm with and without weight and it's always the same.
Am I missing something?(besides the fish)
Where are the Crappie? The bigger Bluegill?
Where there are little ones, there surely are bigger ones, right?
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

normally i fish crappie at night with the popane light, use urtra light pole 7 feel . 4 lbs test line. light jig head with red and white , yellow and red.
let jig down under water about 4 to 7 feet and move the pole slow from left to right.
