My husband left me home alone Friday night and Saturday so I attempted to find some of the folks from the OBPF club on Saturday at Dorena. Took my pole and decided to do some bank fishing since I didn't spot anyone. A guy driving by stopped to see how I was doing (no bites) and offered me advise on catching some crappie at Cottage Grove Res. I headed down there and caught several crappie in the 10-12" range and several nice bluegill. The fish were consistantly biting. I hated to pack up and go home, I was having so much fun. Fried up the fish for dinner and headed back this morning.
I love a fishing weekend............

CG has some great Crappie in it. I was fishing off the dam years ago and saw a guy in a little boat catch one that went 17 inches by the spillway. I didn't believe him when he told me how big it was but he came over and showed me. A couple years ago I caught one about 15" on a super fluke up in the grass flats during the spring.

Kids are great for help on computers .
I used to think that an electric knife was a joke untill a friend used his . I stopped laughing and now own 2 of them . They are great .
