Well, specifically Cedar Mill Bible Church near Beaverton.

It's a pretty big congregation. I've been going there regularly for a couple years now and I'm just wondering if there are any ifishers there. In the regular hustle/bustle and routine of Sunday mornings, the topic of ifish hasn't come up with anybody. I've met a lot of great folks there and even went to the mens retreat a few weeks ago....but again, I never brought fishing up with anybody  (what is wrong with my head?!). So, just curious, I'd imagine the odds would suggest there may be a couple/few. Just thought I'd check.

If not, but you live in the area and have thought about attending a church but aren't sure where to go, send me a line. I'd be more than happy to meet up with ya anytime you want to go.

Went there for 12years JM. Carl is a great teacher and loves to eat my smoked fish. Good staff and still have alot of good friends which I still go there twice a week for b-ball, you'll have to come out sometime and beat up on carl

We left just as the new worship center got finished and I helped get the Solid Rock service going a few years back. Now I go to Beaverton Christian Church and love it!

Keith

Thats awsome FM2. I started going right before construction was done. Carl was preaching Mathew.....Carl is STILL preaching Mathew  (up to chapter 18 now though  ). Solid Rock is led by Phil Comer who came up from Applegate Christian down where I grew up in S. Oregon. It's a more upbeat, less conservative/traditional, younger crowd service on Saturday nights. I'm 30 so I often attend both.

Since you went for so long, you may want to know that Carl is going through some tough times with his folks. His Mom is on her way out with leukemia and I don't think his father is much further behind. I spoke with him for five minutes and he had to ask my name three times (ahlzheimers). Carl actually missed the Easter service. At any rate, prayers for the good fathers peace with him and his.

I'd offer him some smoked fish, but I'm a lousy fisherman.
