Hi there--
Had a long talk with my sis about how to pray about things, lately. I was at a stand still. I didn't know how to pray about things. I was so jumbled up!
Here were her suggestions, and they have helped me.

Pray that all of our leaders are seeking God's will and wisdom.
Pray that God will show us the way.
Pray that he is protecting us, and our leaders from Evil.
Pray that God will go ahead of our troops, and lead them.
Pray that, in these confusing, unpredictable and uncertain times, that people will seek Him out, and that Good will come of this.
Pray that people "just trying to get by" will know they are being deceived, and that they will finally come to know God.
Know that you can pray, also, for both sides, all people!

Anyway, I was sent this by my neice. I like it, and will join in!
Jen

Peace and blessings to you today!

This came from another prayer partner - an excellent idea:
In W.W.II, there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of
people who dropped what they were doing every day at a prescribed
hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its
people and peace.

There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in
America.

If you would like to participate, every evening at 9:00 P.M. Eastern
Standard Time, stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying
for the safety of the United States, its citizens, its men and women
in the military, and for peace in the world.

If you know anyone else who would like to participate, please pass this
along.

"In everything give thanks!" Make a list of your blessings and thank God
for them! He is a GREAT GOD!

Gotta love her for her unending hope and prayers.
She has worked on me for a long, long time, and she hasn't given up yet!

Thank you, God!

That's just about the way I see it too Jen. What you posted pretty much mirrors the way I have been praying

Jennie, I was pretty much in the same place you were. I suspect a lot of us are or were. I got completely out of my prayer routine. Our pastor pretty much gave the same advice about it.

In these trying and difficult times I find myself praying more now more than ever. And the one thing that stands out to me more than anything, is that God was on the throne when he created this earth, Gods is on the throne watching this earth, and God will be on the throne when he calls us home. When our hearts grow faint and we get weary. When our minds cant focus on the things that matter most. Our only hope is in him.
I’m reminded of the sermon on the mount in Matthew Chpts.5-7 and the many things Jesus taught for us to live richer more fuller lives. Not to be bound by the law that Moses gave, but by a grace that sets all men free.
In the 6th chapter Jesus teaches about prayer, the communication between God and us. And he said this, this is how you should pray:
Matthew 6: 5-13
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door,
pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
