Hello,
I just picked up a lowrance LMS 480DF and have an 18ft Intruder. Does anyone know of a good place to have that thing installed?? Called Stevens and they are crazy expensive. I might try to tackle it, but thing has like 400 wires!
Thanks for any help

Don't let all the wires intimidate you. They're really easy to install yourself. Just figure out where you want to put everything, measure and mark out all the holes, then measure couple more times before start drilling. Run all the wires when you're done mounting everything. Good luck.

Within the scope of a larger repair job, Pacific Marine in Vancouver did a good job for me, including installing an NMEA bus that makes the wiring of units featuring NMEA (VHF, FF, GPS, autopilot) WAAAYYYYY easier.
I think Howard is the service manager to ask for.

I would highly recommend Rogers Marine off Marine Drive & 33rd. They installed my Raymarine system and wow, they know marine electronics. Dennis & Jason who are the techs look beyond just the install as to all asspects to the electrical system of your boat. Let alone the profession job they do is amazing. This comes from a guy who is extremely picky.

Give Todd Carver of Ultimate Trolling Solutions a call. He's a Lowrance dealer and offers on the water training with most installations.

I was lazy and had Stevens Marine do mine. They did a great job.
