Prayer

I'd like to offer up a prayer for the citizens of Iraq who are in harms way, rightly or wrongly, due to the impending war. Also, for the soldiers in the Iraqi army who do not wish to be there. I would also like to offer up a prayer for our soldiers to return home soon, and safely. Most importantly, I'd like to offer up prayers for GW Bush, Saddam Hussein, Tony Blair, the other world leaders tangled up in this mess, as well as Sharon, Arafat and Bin Laden...that they might search into their hearts and souls, the ones that God gave them, and to begin making choices and decisions which are for the benefit of society as a WHOLE, one world, one people, and for some similance of peace to sweep across the world.

May God Bless America. And may God Bless Iraq, and Afghanistan, and the UK...may God Bless ALL of "us", his children, here on Earth.

(no, not a peace activist here...just saddened that this is happening, what may come because of it, and that it seems we cant escape wars)

Now that the missiles have been launched and probably many have died, I'm sobered by the reality of it all. But I know that God is in control.I don't want to state the obvious but we christians really need to pray for wisdom for our leaders. Jesus called us to be "fishers of men". This war, right or wrong, can bring opportunity to share our beliefs. May God give us wisdom, our soldiers safety and a quick end to this war.

I believe we should pray for the safety of our boys/girls and all the innocents involved. I pray our leaders have made the right choices. I pray that Isreal will be patient. I pray that Palastine will be patient.

Hopefully good will come of all this. War is a nasty thing. Many will die tonight. I pray for their souls and for their families. Pray for our nation that we will once again be united. A-men.
