View Full Version : Pray for heaven for J.D.Davis Sr.
I lost my Dad this morning to heart failure, and as a few IFishers know, its been a miserable day. Im not sure why I am posting this here so soon...but Im looking for closure and positive reinforcments.
Im praying for the lord to accept him into heaven...He belongs there, please do the same..he was a good man.
Thanks for your help and support, Everyone who spoke to the lord for him through me.
A sad day indeed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Just know your Dad is in a better place now. We lost my husband's mom on Feb. 13th. It was so unexpected, so I know what you are feeling. It hasn't been easy, but things do get better as time goes by. I'll continue to keep you in my prayers.

COTR, I am very sorry to hear of your dad passing on and I feel for you. You have come to this forum to share your heartfelt feelings and have shown a sincere, loving, caring and compassionate side of you. I don't have the words to make your situation any better but I did lose my dad years ago to alcoholism and felt relieved his pain and suffering was over so I know the sadness that comes with this.
If you ever need anyone just to sit on the grass or a river bank and talk, please don't hesistate to call me or a fellow ifisher to be with you.
My heart pours out for you and your family and I pray God will bring peace and understanding to this situation.
YBIC, Keith

COTR, My sympathy in the death of your Dad. Sure not an easy or enjoyable situation. May God give you the peace and strength to carry you and yours through these tough times.
"Thank you" doesnt seem like enough...I sure appreciate the time you folks have taken, the emails and the well wishes here.
As many of you know, my father was sent to the hospital as a result of an accidental shooting. This is a shameful, embarassing, completely frustrating thing to have to tell people.
With the time Ive spent with the police, (who have at times given me the impression they are investigating a murder!) Making arrangements for my fathers cremation and burial in New Hampshire..the anxiety of wondering if and when the police are coming, dealing with family, and trying to figure out why this had to happen the way it did..And the idea that my fathers care was not adequate in the hospital (they were going to send him home Thursday!, and the attending physician told me the morning my father died that he did not know my father had a bullet fragment in his lung!!..THIS freaks me out!) Ive yet to absorb the fact that he is gone. I miss him a lot and often wake up thinking it was all a bad dream
