Hopefully heading to miller lake thursday. What do you use on those browns in the daytime, I figure in the evening and night I can use some rapalas, streamers, nightcrawlers and such, do they go deep? Thanks, never been there before, I hear the road has gone bad! Hope I still have a boat left!

With cloud cover you can use your evening techniques all day, should be rainy and cloudy this weekend, perfect!!
Otherwise anything that will get you to 20 feet or more on the deep side of the shelves.

From you community post

Long line troll some cow bells and a large worm no weight worked earlier in the year. Last year about this time Nordik and Crippled herring jigs in about 60 feet of water was working well even late into the afternoon. The boat who did the best at this drifted East towards the shallow water and jigged about 60' down or whatever depth the fish were at. Earlier lots of big fish due east of the ramp in 60-80 feet of water, also up off the swim beach in that cove - tool around look for them. I also trolled broken back rapelas off my down rigger and had some monsters follow but would commit - were talking 3" arc on a 5" screen. Look for the Kokane balls and the real big fish will not be far away. The Kokes are small 8" or so, but you can jig them as well. At night in the shallows with rapalas will be your best bet.

If I wasn't at the airport I'd send you the GPS numbers

Call the Chumult Ranger Station and ask about the road. In June it took us an hour and 1/2 to make it up the road it was so bad around mile post 8 that you had to go less than 1mph to not cream your boat. Also watch the spot just as you come off the pavement to the gravel - as well as the last mile or so when you get to the lake - smash bash kerbonk slam.

Last bit - stop by and talk to Clint the camp host he knows the lake real well and will steer you to the fishies - ask him about the pink coated ghost of miller lake

Good luck
