I have a '99 northwest jet with an american turbine pump and the large reveerse bucket and seperate handles for the throttle and reverse. Today while taking it off the trailer, the reverse bucket came up and just about launched the boat through the back window of my Tahoe. It happened to me once before when I first got the boat about 2 months ago and I wrote it off to me not knowing what I was doing, now it's just aggrevating. The only way I can keep it in reverse, is to keep my arm resting on the lever and it still tries to come up and sometimes it does. Is there something that needs to be adjusted or any other ideas on what I can do?
