Just got back from a great day at Lava. Fished from 11 to 4 with 30+ fish between my brother and I. Many in the 14 to 16 in range with some going 18. And 1 that went 20. Great weather, great fishing, non stop action. Garden hackle was the ticket  Fall fishing is here. Man I love Central Oregon

Sweet day MHM...Sounds tempting to go up there..
Fall always starts earlier there than it does in the valley..

Sounds like you guys hit it just right.
Fall fishing minus the crowds, bugs, and the bonus of the autumn colors is hard to beat. Nice Rainbows too!

Garden hackle? Worms? ???????????????????????
I was there the previous weekend, and the fishing was somewhat slow until we figured that the fish were all down on the bottom. Went to a full sink line and then caught some fish. Might have to give it another try this coming weekend.
