As best I can dope out, the package, depending on condition is worth about $1,000.

You could get more if you scrapped the aluminum and sold the motor.
I have what you're describing and I wouldn't let it go for less than $5k. And I never use it...

Russ, if it has a pump on it, it is under powered. A friend has the exact set up and with three people, gear and two 6 gal. gas cans it barely gets on plane and won't top 15mph. With two people it is okay.
Dave is right, 5k is a start if the trailer doesn't have a bunch of rust and the motor is in good mechanical condition. A 75hp w/ pump would be a better power plant though.

its not a pump, its a prop......so I guess that would be about the same as a 75 pump..?

Should be okay then Russ, yes pretty close.
5K? That makes me feel better. Two plus years ago, I bought a 16.5 Alumacraft Lunker with trailer and 1999 40 & 5 hp Nissans. All excellent condition. Paid $5900. Got home and checked the NADA and it said the I paid $3000 too much!

NADA values are worthless for these boats. According to Nada, mine with motors and trailer is worth $6000. According to the two seperate dealers I had appraise it, it is actually 10500 low wholesale and 13500 high wholesale. That is why you cant find Duckworth and others in NADA. I would suggest having it appraised and the motor compression tested. Some dealers appraise for free, others charge between $50 and $70. Just some things I learned from my recent boat buying experience. Shane

I agree w/ everyone that says that NADA is worthless to value a boat, or a car for that matter. Get an appraisal and then you should have a reasonable value of it.

I think I have a pretty good idea now  Thanks to all who have replied
BTW here is a photo of the same model boat (the motor & trailer is different tho) that I found on another site, it was posted for sale a long time ago...just for reference

I had a 77/78 Alumaweld Flat Bottomed Sled with a Home made Galv Trailer and a 2004 Merc 40 hp jet tiller.
I sold the whole shooting match for $7200 after duck season ended.
I miss that boat, it was a fun one, and if there was a wet spot anywhere, I could run it in that sled.
That boat was totally indestructable. http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/6479/oldbombervo3.jpg

I reckon it was about $5400 new in the crate at Stevens.
I paid @ $2250 for the boat and trailer.
