I have had a series of flakey fishing partners lately, cancelling the night before and never being available on my schedule. Its getting to be fall in the Bend area and I usually fish every week all winter. I am a troller and target macks, bull trout, kokanee and browns pretty much in that order. Have a new custom built 18' Fishrite and fish on Saturdays and the occasional Monday. PM me if you want to join me. I know theres a few Ifishers in the Bend area.

Joe,Man I wish I could talk my wife into moving to Bend, the fish wouldn't stand a chance between the two of us. Yesterday, as I fished Crane (alone) I thought I should have brought my Downrigger and hit Cultus, then the wind came up and I reconsidered, the way it was blowing on Crane I can imagine how it must have been up there. Tight lines to you.

Fishing buddy bailed (something about salmon in the Cowlitz? go figure.....)

Trolling all day Saturday. Will be at the dam ramp(I swear I'm not swearing) at 7:30am. Will drop you back off whenever you please. Have poles and gear- just bring a lunch.

Timothy is south of Mt Hood about 20 miles. I take Hwy 26 east from Portland and, past Govt. Camp- turn off at Skyline Road- about 10 miles to the lake.

That would be quite a drive for you- unless you start now! :grin:

Looking for an open seat, or to give an open seat for Swift Res. one of these nice sunny days before it closes. I have a 14' boat with 2 kickers, one electric, I just have no clue what I am doing as far as trolling for trout goes, never done it.

I find I have an open seat for this Weds. Oct 18th, I will be fishing Dorena Lake. Early am and returning mid afternoon. Should be wet and wild, fall fishing for Trout at this Willamette Res. is quite remarkable. With the catch and release practace for the last 6 years their are some real slabs in this lake. Either send me a PM or post here.......I will try to look a few times a day. Tight lines......

I have room for two at Hills Creek Saturday morning. I'll be fishing from sunrise tiill about 6:00pm. I can pick you up at the ramp at any time you like and like-wise drop you off. The salmon seemed to like me last time but now I have to figure out how to nail those fat rainbows! We'll be trolling 'till the cows come home......and taking a few snapshots of the day.
Nice days for trout fishing are getting fewer and far between- ya better grab this opportunity while you can!!! Jim

Since no one has responded- the Captain has changed his mind and is going to Swift. Res.- i'ts an hour closer to home.

I have Tuesday and Thursday available this coming week (the 5th and 7th) and would like to get some fishing in. I'm in Monmouth, so hopefully I can find someone that is heading somewhere near here. I am willing to help pay for gas and bring bait if we will be using it.
How about Tuesday at Greenpeter Res. ? Not sure what the water looks like but I know I can get my boat in. Do some trolling and maybe some bait fishing. Let me know what you think...Thistle Creek boat ramp at 7:30am.

That sounds great to me. I'll send a PM your way to get the details ironed out. I just read that they rebuilt the ramp a while ago to allow launching during winter-low water months.

I will be going to Lookout Point Res. on Thursday morning and have an open seat. If any one is interested shoot me a PM. I will be going early and leaving around 2 PM. Lookout Res. is located about half way between Springfield and Oakridge on Hwy. 58. I can meet you at the boat ramp on the North shore(Signal Point Ramp) approximately five miles east of the dam on the dirt road(opposite side of hwy 58).

Have an open seat for Detroit Lake on Sat. Actually have room for 2. I'll be launching at Mongold Ramp at 6:00am and you could meet me then or at any later time you decide to arrive. I could also bring you back to the dock at your convenience. I could supply poles and lures if needed. You just need a lunch and some "just in case" rain gear. Ten thousand fish being stocked this week should make for good trout trolling! PM or email before I leave Fri. nite around 6:00pm.

I heard that there's a lake on Mt Hood that is fed by a hot spring; Supposedly never freezes over and the trout get huge there. Anyone know anything about this?

Room for 1 on Merwin and/or Yale Saturday 6-30. Will leave from I-5 exit 4 Vancouver very early. Not sure how long I'll stay out, maybe all day.

No time limits
No sunflower seeds/peanuts
No alcohol
Must be willing to wear your life jacket the entire trip. I've sunk every other boat I've owned and I'll probably sink this one at some point, too. No point taking chances.

The boat is a 17 foot Alumaweld super-v, if it's raining you'll get wet. PM if you're interested.

Boat rules are no alcohol, no sunflower seeds/peanuts, and you need to be willing to wear your life jacket. I've sunk every boat I've owned, no need to take chances with this one although it does seem to be rather idiot proof. Boat is a 17 foot Alumaweld.

I also may have one seat/standing room available pm me for availability. I plan to launch at A dock around 8-9 on sunday. I run a clean boat no smoking, mild cursing ok, mild drinking ok as I will have my 10yr old with me I have all the gear or bring your own, I mostly troll but will anchor up if its slow and try whatever. Must have license or you swim for shore long story but true.

Fishing Merwin on Saturday, 5-24. One open seat. I have all gear. My boat is an open 17 foot super V so dress for the expected weather.

You can ride with me from Exit 4 Vancouver or meet me at the ramp at Speelyai at 6:30 am.

Boat rules are pretty simple, no seed or bananas, no drinking, and you need to wear a life jacket.

I'm planning to fish until around lunch but an open schedule is appreciated.

I'll do the last PM check around 8:00 pm tonight. (SEAT FILLED, mudde has it)
