Need boat buying advice

I am looking to buy a boat in the 12000 - 12500 range max. I am hoping if I tell you guys what I plan to use it for you can give me some advice. I already have a 16' drift boat for taking other people with me down the upper santaim, Alsea and Siletz. I have a 8' pontoon boat for when I am going alone or with my buddy who also has one. What I want is something for Tidewater Alsea/Siletz/ Yaquina fall chinook, and lower Santiam spring chinook, summer steelhead. Occasional bay crabbing and taking the family out. Anything recommendations for a good low water boat (boat style) in that price range? Thanks in advance

I would say something in the 18' range. Maybe an open sled with a outboard jet. This would allow you to run in really shallow water but get out into the bays. You should be able to find something used for that kind of money.
