Takhalak Lake

Anyone have any reports from Takhalak?
I'm going up there for the weekend. I've fished up there the last two years and have done fairly well. Last year I picked up a nice Brown, trolling in front of the campground.
Any other lakes close by that would be worth a trip?

I was up there a few weeks ago fishing off the bank. There's a downed tree on the north side of the campground that extends into the lake. Plunking worms/marshmallows as close as I could to the log, it was a fish a cast. It seemed like the trollers were also doing best as they passed by it.

You can be sure that tree will be visited by our fleet of two canoes, a drift boat, and a raft.

I've always done well by the rocks and in the cove, nice to have another spot to try.
