I have noticed that everyday when i come home i turn my prop around and there is a very small but fresh puddle of oil right where the prop meets the housing, possible leak ,Is there a seal in there that might be bad?
I have yet to run this motor at home but i did hear it run when i puchased the boat.
:help: Thanks Shaun MD

Get yourself a prop wrench and remove the prop (might be able to do it with pliers or a large wrench, but a prop wrench is probably your best bet). There's a seal around the prop shaft (actually several) and the most often cause of compromise on that seal is fishing line wound around the prop shaft.
Anyway, take off the prop and see where you stand. What you're seeing might be residual 2 stroke oil coming down through the exhaust system, which conveniently exits through the prop itself.

Thanks Ampersat, i did pull it off and there seems to be no oil coming from the area where the shaft enters into the lower unit, Must be residual oil from the exhaust or is there any other signs im missing,i did drain some lube from the drain plug and it looks new.
