Fresh Eggs for bait

I recently harvested a hen Lake Trout that was full of eggs, and was wondering if the eggs could be cured and used for bait. For that matter can you cure any fish eggs, and use them for bait. Or only Steelhead and Salmon ?

They would probly work, you should try it.

Cured eggs work for trout, just use the same ones you would for steelhead or salmon fishing.
