We sure could use everyones prayers today. My wife goes in for surgery today at 1:00PM to test for lung cancer. She will need to stay in the hospital for 2-4 days. Her lungs are full of spots and they are not sure what they are. One year ago she went in to get a cyst removed from her ovary. She had 4 different tests prior to surgery and they were all negative for cancer. When they removed the cyst they found ovarian and uterian cancer. We feel God led us to surgery for the cyst because they found the cancer very early as result of the cyst surgery. After a year of many set backs she is still cancer free from the ovarian cancer. They say if the ovarian cancer ever comes back, she will not be curable. They also report if this test today comes back cancer of the lungs she has a less then 5% chance to live. My wife is only 45 and has been through so much in her life for someone so young.
In addition to your prayers for the surgery, please pray that the results are negative for cancer.
We have a really strong faith and God has been our rock through all of this. Even in the face of these difficult times we have been blessed in many ways and we continue to thank God for his strength.
I only have access to the internet here at work so I will not be able to check posts for several days until I get back, but I we know God answers prayer. God is the Great Physician and we are in his hands.
Remember to tell your family and friends you love them and do not be afraid to share with them about Jesus, if they do not know Him.
God bless you all and thank you for your prayers,
David.

Our prayers are with you and your wife that the Lord would once again show His Power and Might -- and work a miracle of healing and that He would wrap His loving arms around you and bring the comfort and peace that only the Lord can provide.

We serve a God of answered prayer. How blessed we are that during times of trouble in our lives we do not have to go through these things alone "I will never leave thee or forsake thee" I would not want to be an unbeliever going through life's troubles alone.
Hook-up I just found this post and I'm days late, please give an update.

God's blessings on your household,
Merle
