Brightenbush river report.

Had a chance to take my son fishing on the upper river earlier in the week. Plenty of hungry planters available. We had most of the river to ourselves too! I liked buzz's post about trolling power bait. My 5 year old was bouncing P-bait through the deeper holes with great success. That stuff works well. Black rooster tails scored a bunch too.

My six year old daughter loves it up their. Camping, swimming, fish, and smores. She can cast fairly well, so I usually put a bobber on her rod with eggs or a small spinner beneath it to heep it as snag free as possible.
