Been trying not to focus on it this year, but tomorrow at 9:30 and 10:30 are Andrew's and my echo cardiagrams that we get nervous about.
With Marfan, you need to watch the growth of our aortic measurements... Anyway, long story, but neither one of us is in the mood for heart surgery or the alternative.
Andrew knows WAY to many medical terms for a kid his age.
Funny, but he told a guy at school, wearing a white shirt...
"Hey, Paul? I notice you are wearing a white shirt. I have Marfan Syndrome and my aorta could burst at any moment... I'd hate to mess up that pretty shirt..."
I know, SICK! But... ya gotta laugh!
It's a scary time.
Plus, I've had an ear infection for about four months. After the echo, I go to an ENT to have them punctured or something, and maybe have tubes put in? Not sure.
That's a breeze after the other!
But a big day...
Thanks for any prayers... especially for Andrew, as he understands the full meal deal about Marfan syndrome and the possibilities...
