I have read several posts regarding good and tough times with people's companies and the lack of or abundance of work. Regardless of the industry you are in there will be prosperous times and lean times as I have personally experienced in working for corporations and owning my own company.
I have a powerful testimony I will share with folks but not on a discussion board. I'm happy to say God has shown Himself and believe me "He giveth and taketh" is true. I just want to offer some words of wisdom to those who both work for a company or own their own and these quotes come from my corporate brochure which is sent to people globally:
WHO ARE WE: How do we operate? We are more than just a collection of people running a business. We are people with a simple vision-that of helping our customers. The Bible says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish."-Proverbs 29:18. Accordingly, a company - any company - will weaken and die once its vision becomes blurred, impaired, or disappears.
We hope to "raise the bar" for service, integrity and forthrightness, when dealing not only with customers, but also with suppliers and employees. This is, in effect, an attempt to run the business with the aim of glorifying God in all that we do. How?
First, by recongnizing that all that we have-our business, and even life itself-is a gift. We are stewards of property and relationships. We are to be greatful for what we have and the blessings that have been given to us, because everything does not belong to us. "The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein." Psalm 24:1
Second, by attempting to run the business by standards that are above those of the world-the laws of God. These standards are "sure, making wise the simple"; they are "pure, enlightening the eyes"; and "in keeping of them there is great reward", - from Psalm 19:7-11. The reward is not one of material gain, but that reward found when attempting to "love your neighbor as yourself".
This is the information we send out to thousands of customers world wide and while this may be somewhat risky, we are comfortable in our faith in God as we know and understand where our prosperity comes from. Many companies have struggled in recent times but our company continues to prosper in the ability to grow within the electronics industry due to the glory we give to God.
Please look at your business and once you surrender to God, He will provide beyond your expectations.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Grace and Peace
