I copied the following from the Headlight Herald (Tillamook weekly paper). Since the new regulations are not printed yet and wont be till mid January I dont think they could get a ticket for the following items to stick yet.
Here are the regulation changes they listed.
2001 Angling Regulations:
Statewide:
• Salmon/steelhead: Anglers may not fish for jack salmon after they retain a limit of adult salmon or steelhead.
• All species: It is illegal to retain a fish with a radio tag inserted for research purposes. An antenna trailing from its mouth or body can identify the fish.
• Bullfrogs: No angling license is required to take bullfrogs, a species non-native to Oregon.
Northwest Zone:
• Rainbow trout: Two adipose fin-clipped rainbow trout (16-20”) are allowed per day, two daily limits in possession in rivers open to steelhead angling.
• Bass: A limit of one bass per day, any size, is established for Cape Meares Lake, Lake Lytle, Sunset Lake, and Town Lake. Two limits may be in possession.
Marine Zone:
• Rockfish: No more than one canary rockfish included in 10 rockfish daily catch limit.
• Lingcod: Maximum length limit eliminated. 24-inch minimum length maintained.
• Sturgeon: one per day, 10 per year, minimum length 42 inches, and maximum length 60 inches.
• Crab: No holding pots or live boxes in the ocean. No more than one daily catch limit per landing and no more than two daily catch limits in possession.
