Alwyze,

Ok, I can edit messages too! Now my post looks stupid since you changed yours. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I'm thinking I could do this on Christmas day, really don't have to be anywhere......at least I think.

I'll check back later,

hook

Lost for words I know so few of them. But I think the wife might really shoot me if she thought I was looking for a Date. I guess if I told her I was looking for a new fishing partner that be ok.

All thru Junior High, High School and a few years afterwards our family would be fishing on Christmas Day. Mom would bring a hot Christmas dinner to the river on plates covered in foil for Dad and us 3 boys. We would all stand around a big fire listening for a bell to ring, enjoying Christmas dinner. It was not until later in life I learned this was not normal with other families. Now with the additions of wifes, kids and family responsibilities, we sit around in a house, watch football and eat at a table. I long for the old days of eating by the fire watching my pole. I can assure you my wife would never bring a hot meal to the riverbank for me. And if I did get to the riverbank at dinner time, when I came home, the wife would be hot not dinner. And not the kind of hot anybody wants to come home to. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif So we do the "normal" things now, but I still manage every year to get up early and sneak away for a piece of what god gave us at the same place I use to eat Christams dinner at the edge of the river for just a couple hours at daylight. Maybe Santa will fill my fish box again this year.

Merry Christmas to all.

Bait, My dad ,brother and I would go Goose hunting at Baskett Slough just south of Salem on Turkey day and Christmas. Can't do it anymore. (wife) http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif Jeff, I would love to go, It would take some serious sweet talking just to get out of the house.

Can't do that on Xmas, Jeff, that would be what I refer to at work as a "career limiting decision". However, I'm always on the hunt to go on New Year's day if that comes up.
