Im gonna be in Whistler Canada all next week for snowboarding, and I was wondering if there is any good steelhead rivers within a few hours if whistler? Thanx for any help!

I think it might be worth a try in the Capilano River, between Vancouver and Whistler. There are a lot of smaller rivers in that area that have runs, but may not be readily acessable? Maybe the B.C. boys can shed some more light on that.

The Squamish river is about 1 hour south of Whistler,it's too early for Steelhead but there is some good dolly fishing. If your looking for Steelhead the only river that's worth fishing right now is the Vedder. The water is low and clear but there are good numbers of Steelies around.
