Stay away from Stephen King novels http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif j/k I hope all is well lil buddy. Don't give up the fight because that prize is sweet and you want to make your family proud...although as much as she brags on ya, you already make her proud. Remember though, besides your mama, girls have coodies. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey Andrew, the thoughts of all this rain coming and those 10lb silver bullets heading up the rivers in droves should be enough to help you through a speedy recovery! And I know you know how to get em' in the boat. I saw those pics of your last chromer. Don't worry and enjoy your recovery time, I think everybody should be required to just "recoup" every now and then... Joe
Hi Andrew, Lets see, you get to miss school, watch movies, make out your Christmas wish list, play cards and board games, watch the rain fall, hope for snow and the best part, spend time with your mom!!!! We will see you on the river Andrew. Tight lines, RW
BTW - the best Stephen King novel is Thinner, he wrote it under his pen name Richard Bachman. It is great!! And don't believe anything hey_yall says!!!! http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi Andrew, My wife and I wish you the best and will say a big prayer to the man upstairs to keep an eye on you and get you back on the rivers soon. The best steelhead will be waiting for your hook. Good luck.

Hi Andrew!
My boys and I will say a prayer for you. I know you'll be out catching another one of those BIG fish like the one I saw before here not to long ago before long. You and mom will get to have some special time together too. Take care and dream about fishing!

I dont' know if Andrew has read any of the Harry Potter books (there are now four), but if he hasn't you could start him off on Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I was reading a few pages a night to my son Max, and he got so hooked he finished the book on his own . . . and then gave the book away to his best friend at school.
So I went out and bought another copy so I could find out how it ends -- it's that good!
Wishing your son a speedy recovery and a great Christmas!
PS If Andrew's going to be spending some time in bed, why not give him a dozen Pip's boxes, 200 Gami's and some Maxima green and have him tie up some egg loops? (I'm sure he'll appreciate the suggestion!)

I second Snagly's recommendation.
Those Harry Potter books are amazing..no matter what age you are.
Also any Pat McManus books but you have to be careful that you don't laugh to hard that you hurt yourself.
Best wishes and although time may seem to drag you will be up and about in no time. Teach you self games like how many times can you make your mother go back and forth through the door in 30 minutes......
Our thought and prayers are with you.

Okay, Andrew, as RW puts it you get to miss the school, watch the tube, catch up on all this mail you're getting, and then when you're recouperated it's like putting a new set of plugs in the rig! I don't know you folks personally, but I think this board has to be one of the closest bunch of people I've run into anywhere and not actually met. Look at the posts! Almost 13,000 of them and alot of members who are all pulling for you to be back out there catching some winter steelies. I'm sure I've fished within yards of your property in the past years and perhaps we'll meet one day. When we do, I'll expect a really strong handshake! Take care and get back into the waders soon!

Hi Andrew. I'll be seeing you soon and you'll be in good shape. Here's a couple little secrets. You won't have to mind your Mom for awhile http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif . And they will bring you ice cream! You'll be feeling good real soon. RT
