Lower Willy

Does anyone know a good spot on the lower Willamette where I can take my kids to catch some warm water fish?

We've been repeatedly skunked and they're starting to lose interest.

They want to name the boat Jinxed.

Did you try below Clackamette on the West side of the river Larry? Should be some smallies aorund there :cheers:

I too have been trying to get my two little girls out as much as possible. (It may be the only influence I'll have on who they'll eventually marry!)
Anyway, what I like to do is toss out a slip bobber with a jig & curly tail (black or brown) on their poles and drag them behind the boat while I fish. Smallmouth can't resist a suspended swimming grub! Always good for a few fish for them.
