We are thinking of driving over to Ten Mile in the morning. Any suggestions on where and with what to catch perch or crappie?

I tried to go this morning (sun) to Tenmile but Hwy 138 was closed. Did you try to go to?

Believe it or not, I had a little too much celebration last night and didn't get out of bed early enough. I would have traveled Hwy 38

I usually find a deeper cove and catch Perch this time of year. A little chuck of crawler on a tiny hook and splitshot is all you need. I usually find them in 12-16 feet of water on the outer weedlines.

Hey, thanks. I fished there last year but hadn't heard much lately. It's such a pretty lake, it is one that I enjoy even if the fish aren't biting.

This may be too little too late, and I don`t personally do the perch crappy thing, but I here from the locals that do, that the perch and crappy fishing has been so bad that some think they all died?????????????????????????

Bassin, my wife and I just got back from Ten Mile . We spent a week there and I never saw a crappie caught. Usually there are nice perch and crappie caught from the boat dock on the North lake but there was nuthin being caught. I did hear of a young boy that caught a very small blue gill by the boats only to have eaten by a 22" large mouth bass! The boy released it back to eat another day. My brother was there about 3 weeks ago and said the same thing about all the crappie and perch being gone.....
