I fished Crane Prarie for three solid days. The Fishing was king of slow. We didnt catch very many, but the ones we did catch were hogs. Really nice average fish. They were all hitting crank baits. It was surprising that i didnt catch very many on soft plastics. O and I have a question for people that have fished Crane Prarie, Does anyone catch many fish in the wood? I caught all my fish on rocky points. Thanks for your input.

Great job,wish I had the time to give it a go.Tie that crank to some heavy mono it's a good one.Best of luck to ya.

I fish CP duing the 4th of July weekend. Only caught 2 fish both were in the wood. I will try and have my post up by the end of the day and hopefully it will answer your question a little beter.

The wood looks soo good, so I wouldnt be surprised. 1bigfish: I also fished on the fourth of july. What kind of boat do you have.
