East Lake Report

I don't usually post reports but was curious what others think of East this year. I have'nt been for a couple of years and did really well catching lots and lots of 8-13 inch rainbows along the shorelines but didn't catch browns like I have in the past. I only caught one bigger brown and lost a couple of others. Are the numbers of browns depressed or did I just have a rainbow streak going? Don't get me wrong the action was great surface and especially subsurface for the bows but I remember catching way more browns.

Willie, I haven't fished up there for years, so I can't answer your question. However, I will be spending a few nites up there later this month. Would you mind sharing some of the patterns you found effective, especially dries?

If there is an evening rise, a Parachute Adams or Winged Adams size 18 will be effective.
