Umpqua Half Pounders

Planning a trip to the Umpqua mid July. Could someone tell me when the half pounders (steelies) run? Will fish the North Fork for SM but would like to try the South Fork as well.

Don't think the Umpqua gets much of a half-pounder run, more of a Rogue fishery. The regular summer run should be picking up on the North fork about now, though.

I would agree with what siwash said. I will be heading downing for the half pounders on the rogue at the end of august.
