After 15 years of very limited fishing, I took my 7 year old son out a couple of weeks ago and caught two keeper sturgeon on the Multnomah Channel one 45" and one 43". Now he is hooked. Saturday went out again and caught many a shaker. After a while decided to try some pan fishing up and down the channel and caught a few small perch. My son loved the light tackle and now wants to fish for Pan fish. Any information or tips would be appreciated. Looks like fishing for trout in lakes is going to take a back seat for now.
