Where is the best place to camp at 10 mile? Also where sould I concentrate for catching that elusive large mouth? Will topwater work in the lily pads during morn/evening?
HELP ME! Duckchic is about to kill me if I don't take her there and get her into some fish this weekend.

Camp at North Lake Resort. It might be a bit crowded this weekend but there's usually some spots. Right out from the campground are lily pads that have plenty of fish under them that will come out and eat your topwater bait at dawn and dusk.

I always camp at the osprey point rv park. You are right on the canal and can catch quite a few LM about anytimew of day from shore

AWESOME! I have the boat and will be fishing my #@@ off. If the wife catches a few (shw usually catches more than me) then it will be a GREAT DAY!!!!!

I like soft plastic jerkbaits in and over the pads early and late. Fishing the edges of the weedbeds will produce durring the day but you will have to be patient as the bites slow and there will be lots of boats. Senko type baits or yo yoing a spinnerbait off the bottom will work also.

When I camp there I just pull over on the side of the road and recline the seat back. :smash:
