I tried the North Fork of the Klakanine River yesterday to no avail. I didn't hold out much hope for a steelie because of the river levels but I just had to get the line wet. There were many people fishing but no reports of catching. All I caught for the effort was one little dark silver jack. I am praying for the rain.
