View Full Version : Giving thanks to the Ifish community....You folks are GOOD!
Well, my wife and I received the call from Drew's cardiologist on Tuesday. It seems that after a closer look at the echocardiogram results, and consulting with the surgeon, they've decided the surgery can wait, most likely a couple years. We're ecstatic. My wife is convinced that the people here, with all your kind thoughts and prayers, were able to make a difference. And I'm not about to argue with the results.
Thanks again, everyone, for taking the time to put Drew in your thoughts and prayers. My family is grateful. Now, how about praying for some rain.....J/K.

Dan, We are all thankful for your good news. I have many things to be thankful for but when things are going my way and sailin' along I sometimes forget to thank God for everything. Then a reminder, such as Drew, of just WHO is in charge puts it back in proper perspectice and I remember. So now I say I am indeed thankful for you and your family and all my Ifish friends as well (most of whom I have never met in person). Take care and God bless!

Sure glad to hear the good news Dan, I have had your Son and your family in my prayers everyday since you wrote the first post. I was reflecting today on all of the things that I have to be greatful for this past year and I can just add that to the list!!!

A wonderful Thanksgiving answer to prayer! The ifish crew is wonderful and supportive. I broke my foot hunting 3 weeks ago and actually received more cards and notes of concern from our BB gang than my family and face-to face friends.

Even Marty sent me a card with some poor fat guy hanging his feet off of the gunnels of a boat. How could he know without seeing me?
