These guys just showed up at my doorstep, wouldn't say where these bright hens were caught, just wanted their picture on the world wide web.

Its pretty amazing the timing of different runs for different streams. Our local kings are all but gone as a gaze at your chromers. Never ceases to amaze me with all the available opportunities for fish out there.

Marty and all, it's not often discussed but the further south you fish the later fall chrome King salmon come in. They decline earliest up in AK then B.C., then the Oly Pen/NW Wash. Soon after the SW Wash. Kings and other Columbia tributaries. The Tillamook rivers get mint bright fresh 'nooks up thru early Dec. most years and southern Oregon's Chetco, Sixes, and Elk rivers get them fresh thru the end of Dec.; probably CA's Smith R. too? Of course you get a little earlier and bigger steelhead up your way. Helps a fisher's cause to be mobile! http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif - RT

Ok, it IS just me. The picture is "ok" on Dots computer.....but not mine. Answered my own question here....lol
