I know that some here don't think highly of Hoodsport but let me tell you what happened yesterday. I arrived at the zone with a Dad and his two boys 15 and 12...3 hours later we left with 16 fish in the boat and two boys that were completely worn out but talking 100 miles per hour, big smiles and sore arms. All fish were legally hooked and fought incredibly we lost countless fish and had a ton of fun. While filleting the fish the two brothers fell asleep in the bow...Dad was a happy guy. So...my point...if you don't personally like the Hood try taking a kid...in fact I think they should make Hoodsport a family only zone...always gets my dire up a little when I see all those dads and grandpas out there without any kids...but that is my opinion and I will take a kid fishing any day of the week!
But it was a bunch of fun...my arm is even sore from filleting all those fish!
