Well, I thought I would share my experiences with cravex and see if anyone else got a chance to test it.

I feel that I only tested it properly a few times. Once last Sunday on the Wilson I hooked a chinook using Cravex after untreated baits (below a bobber)had passed through the same water approx 15 times. I got bit on the first cast. As an asside I was using one of my best cures with a semi wet egg which is very effective when the river is low.

Second time was Wednesday of this week, Wilson tidewater, many fish in the hole. Approx 9 taken out before we got there. I used craves for the 1/2 hour before and the hour after high slack with no bites. My buddy got bit twice without it. Same water, same depth. About 2 hrs later, without Cravex I got bit. At this point I am not impressed but this is with limited testing. Anyone else got anything to share on results.

Fishbait, I have been testing it some the last couple of falls. I have gotten similar results. It seems to be the difference on occassion then it let's you down. That's not to say it isn't a good thing to have. It's sort of like sodium nitrate, a much stronger sodium based preservative than sulfites which are in most commercial egg cures. Some days the 'Nooks want one of those and some days they don't. They are very moody finicky fish. Especially when holed up in low clear water. That's why we need flexability with having 2 or 3 different types of cured eggs along and having different scents and chems along to see what they are biting on best. The guides being out there everyday can dial in easier, so we need to have a lot of flexability along to the river, and also help testing things like Cravex Plus among several of us fishermen and share the results to get definitive answers. - Any other results in Ifishers? Thanks.
