Ok Folks I need info, and I need it fast........lol http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif I wouldn't mind fishing the Satsop River this weekend because my younger brother has the weekend off, and this will be our last full weekend adventure. We will be bank maggots yet again on this adventure. Now leaving Olympia, where can we go for bank access to fish, what roads, etc? Thanks y'all. Y'all are the greatest http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

'Yall, I put up the info under the 'Superstitions' thread. More may come here from Wash. fishers. You may see me their tomorrow (Sat.) in a driftboat up the east fork Satsop or down below the forks in a friends small sled. Shout it up if ya see us. Good luck. - BTW, is it true that you and Osprey have the same first AND last names? Seriously! http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Wow, erie. - Steve

Hey hey,
I wish you had an email link up, because I'm sure I'll get grief for posting this, but that's ok. From oly, hit Hwy 101 toward Shelton/Ocean Beaches. At the Hwy 8/Hwy 101 North exit, stay on Hwy 8 toward the Ocean Beaches/Montesano/Aberdeen side. Go through McCleary and Elma and exit to the right at Satsop. Go to the stop, and turn left in Satsop. Go a ways and turn right up the hill before you get to the bridge. This road parallels the east fork and goes all the way up to Schaeffer park. There's spotty access all the way up to the park. Continue up the same road past the park, and you'll see the cars parked to access the east fork at Decker creek and the s-curves. Keep going and you'll reach the road that parallels the east and west forks (turn left or southbound) and gives you access to the forks hole and eventually leads you back into Brady and Hwy 8 (or hwy 12). If you turn left off the highway at Satsop (coming from Oly) you can access the confluence of the Satsop and Chehalis by turning right before you get to the bridge over the Chehalis.
Bring your heavy gear, as the Chum-lords have made their way to the Satsop and you don't want none of that action with no 10 lb. test! Good luck.
Fish on......
