Aifter you guys left we went to Lorns drift, there were a few people there saw one snagged not landed, saw some roll nothing being caught. Then to Trask tidewater, caught a sea run cut, let it go. Jim landed 3 bullheads. Off to another river I think it was the Miami, saw one caught not landed, no fish rolling didn't fish there. Back to Mills Bridge watched a guy land a nice jack, he went to wash it off after it layed on the bank and he said it bit him and he let go. The fish swam off not to be seen again. Saw some jacks rolling nothing was biteing. Better luck next time...sounds like I should catch fish on the elk though.

After parting with fish_on after Mills Bridge, I dropped by Blue and watch a couple of guys drown shrimp. One guy had glasses and was intently casting shrimp and dragging them to the fish. But no fish on.
By the way, we watched guys fishing the Kilchis(not Miami),from the logging bridge, anyone familar with that hole and observation point knows that the spot provides a good view of the fish. There were no fish in(exept one a guy snagged in the upper hole) the water was clear and no sign of chinook or chum. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif
But I don't count the day a loss- Fish_on is a great guy to tag around with and I look forward to fishing with him again and catching something besides sculpin.
And though I didn't get to do a lot of jawing with R.T. and ZaQ it was a pleasure to meet them and to put a face with a name.
Thanks again gentlemen for your company!

Thanks for the morning guys. I enjoyed it. RT, let me know about that trip we talked about. Letsfish, I gave you my patented sculpin catching shrimp, and it sounds like it worked! Woohoo.

As per E-mail Os, can't go tomorrow (& drifting the upper Satsop Sat.) but I think we can put together a day with Superfly next week (been planning a trip together up there). And they have plenty of water coming out of the Oly Pen rivers and biting fish. Wish that were happening in Tillamook (maybe soon). BTW, I think it's Dustin, not Justin? Please excuse my hearing Fish_on http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif. - Steve

You guys didn't miss a thing on the Ne-suck-a! How can I go from 4 fish on Sunday feeling like I can do no wrong to not even seeing a fish today (oh ya, until I come down to Woods and see some guy pull out 3 fish in 15 minutes with his "yellow" rod and shrimp with 7 inches of green yarn???). I quit until it RAINS. There are only 4 fish at the hatchery on Three Rivers? Where did they go?

After an improptu put together of morning fishing plans on the Chat last night, 4 of us met before daybreak at the Wilson R. Blue Hole. I met Zaq, Justin (fish_on), and Jim (letsfish). We met there to watch our bobbers float. And float and float. We tried different eggcures and scent additives, and moved the bobber stops around to no avail. LOCKJAW! I even climbed down to the ledge below toward the upper end to deep retieve a Vibrax then a K-14. Lockjaw. After about an hour and a half of this Zaq followed me up river to try a productive deep hole and Jim and Justin went down river. We only fished about another hour up above in one big hole with no bites, so I decided to just drive home as Zaq took off for work around 9:00. How did you 2 other guys do down below, or over on the Trask? - RT
