I have a question for the group. Lets say you are fishing in your favorite fishing hole and you have hooked a steelhead that is 20 plus lbs. Out of the bush comes the girl of your dreams and she says " if you will cut your line you can have your way with me" MY question is, will you cut your line and go with her or tell her to get out of the way so that you can land the fish?

There's always another girl. The fish of your dreams only comes around once. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'd ask her to hand me the net then stay out of the way!

Beside I think my wife wouldnt approve of the "new" fishing partner. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Gee, lets see.... Tough choice for me...NOT!
If it were a guy, like some dream guy....
I don't think there is any question, either way. When you are a fishing fanatic, nothing stands in the way.
I probably wouldn't even see/hear/notice them.

You know what I think I might jsut ask her to stand aside and let me play my fish then after banking the fish I would ask her to take a picture of me and my fish. Thank her and go right back to fishin http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well I see that I'm going to post the first honest answer to this one. (jk) If Shania Twain came out of the bushes and said that, I'd cut my line in a heartbeat. Then when I woke up from the dream I'd ask my wife for forgiveness .... after I asked her to put on the Shania T. mask I picked up for Halloween and 'had my way'! http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Let's look at this from the perspective of maximizing the pleasurable experience. I recently had the good fortune to land a c. 22lb hen in BC. It took 16 minutes, a flat-out sprint down the hole through the tailout (after I already thought she was whupped), and then seven trips to the bank before I finally leadered her.

Would I have received the same cardiovascular workout and adrenaline rush with Shania Twain? You betcha! Would the experience have lasted 16 minutes? You gotta be kidding! I'd have had my waders back on with plenty of time to spare. (In fact, I'm not certain I'd have even have got the waders off . . . .) So "A fish on the end (of the line) is worth more than a babe in the bushes".

LOL Snagly. You could be excused for a premie just looking at Shania. But remember it isn't the amount of time it's the quality of the time! - Geez, what subjects slow fishin brings http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif .

looks like we have more then one person who can tell the truth on this board. I guess thats a start. Maybe the rest of us fisherman and women should try it.

But what fun would that be. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Well, I married the girl of my dreams, so when she comes out of the bushes with that offer, my first question would be "where are the kids?" I don't know which would be rarer: time alone with my wife, or a 20 lb steelhead. But anyway, I'd land the steelhead, then cut the line and have my way with her. You never said I had to cut the line with the steelhead still on the other end of it.

No,no,no,no,no!

You guys are missing the obvious answer.

I'd play the fish awhile, get my jollies THEN OFFER TO LET HER PLAY THE FISH TOO.

She'd be so grateful for the experience that she'd force me into the bushes for another experience.

You can have it both ways! http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Oh I would hand her my rod alright. Forget the fish, I don't want it anymore. Now if Laetitia Casta let me have my way with her....well I would be one happy camper because all I would need is one chance and she would fall in love with me for sure...there's no doubt. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif Shuuud up Osprey, don't take away my dream...don't do it...lol lol

Fishhead?!? One in the hand is better than two in the bush? Either you are thinking about the wrong bush (GWB?), or you are very handy! http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

RW, that's certainly more accurate than the doctor's old axiom 'you've seen one you've seen 'em all'. And Bob, ya I like donuts for sure; especially glazed donuts! http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Geez, is anyone getting a little redfaced over this thread? http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif If so, let me know and I'll suggest you click on other subjects http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif . Right on Ron! And come on Fishhead5, you still don't get it? You'd rather have your hands on 2 of them than one in the bush? Have you tried Viagra like Bob suggested? If you do you might just switch that sentence around. -- Forgive me Lord, for I cannot help myself within these threads sometimes. Jen, if you are still following this thread, maybe you should ban the moderator for a few days? Actually, I would hope that people offended by a thread like this would have stopped clicking on it long before now! I can think of only one guy I've fished with that would have stopped clicking on this one after the first few posts.
