carp question

i appreciate all the tips and help finding locations you guys have provided for carp. with a young daughter at home and another kid on the way, i cherish any spot close to pdx where i can sight fish to carp, and you all have been helpful!

i'm hoping to gain some insight from your experience again with regard to grass carp. grass carp (white amur) look completely different than common carp, and I have yet to see a single grass carp around PDX. have any of you guys come across them in any of the ponds/lakes around town? i would like to add grass carp to my list, but have no idea where to find them!

I believe they put some grass carp in Commonwealth Pond. At least I saw some in there last summer. Don't know if the otter get them every year or not but they (the carp) sure do keep the weed under control.
