Anyone been there lately??? How's it fishing??????

Fished it 4/30 for 2 hours before getting blown off the lake. My Hewes has real high sides and a windshield, makes boat control tough in the wind. No bites. Fished it again 5/3 earlier in the day, before the wind came up. Two small (~1 lb) bass and 3 other hits (short strikes) in 4 hours. Surface temp was 60 -61 on 4/30, had fallen to 58 - 59 on 5/3. Highlight on 5/3 was watching a ~5 lb bass swim lazily by my Minnkota in a 10 foot deep real narrow creek channel. She wanted nothing I threw at her. Next week I will try again.

I went yesterday with a friend of mine and it took us all morning with no bites before we finally figured out the pattern. We ended up hooking over 30 between 1 and 6 lbs. The only thing I can really say is "Think Shallow".
