Because so many of us are fishing the Bassin For Bucks tournament there this weekend, you are not likely to get much help, but I will tell you that the water temp last weekend was around 60 and is expected to rise this week. Water clarity is good. As far as where and what to fish,
KEEP IT WET!

I still have been doing really well in the morning on the Helicopter lure. After the morning bite is over you can start fishing your way off the shoreline and fish deeper and deeper. Usually around 15 to 20ft deep. Stay away from docks, trees, brush ect... because that is were all the snags are.

I did not know about the tourney this weekend. I was planning on taking the wife and kids down there Sunday, Monday Tuesday, for a nice spring vacation. The weather has already put a thorn into a good start. Now, the tourney. I hope the bass do not get to much pressure this weekend and slows down my chances of getting my 3 kids there first LGmouths.

The tournament will not hurt a thing. I am planning on staying over and fishing Sunday myself.

I don't think the tournament will hurt your chances of catching fish on Sunday. By the time Doug is done sore-lipping all the fish in the lake, nobody is going to catch anything Sat. anyway! Our only hope is to pull right in front of him all day long and catch some fish right from under his trolling motor! Good luck Doug and everybody else who is going to be there! :smash:

The fish are biting on wedding rings and pop gear. Troll them in deep water and you'll get slammed!!!
Flying lure in 20 foot of water has been producing too.
