Im headin out for the Deschutes this sunday though friday (lucky me http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif) I gonna be mostly flyfishing, but i wanna pick up a few bluefox spinners for mid-day fishing. My question is, what size should i get?? And what colors work best...(i was thinkin blue, pink, crome...) Should i use added weight (a few split-shots), or should i just swing the spinners as-is???
I've done good with steelie spoons before (after swinging them through i run, I usually raise my rod, and let it flutter back down... over and over). This is when they usually hit. Should i do this with the spinners, or just a steady, slow retieve?!?!?!
I really appreciate all the help and advice i get from all you ppl on this board! IFISH IS AWESOME!! THANX EVERYONE!!!!
Tight lines -Evan-

I hear you saying midday....Go with the black spinners for midday. As far as weight goes I would add split shot if I couldn't cast far enough or fish deep enough. I have caught fish by fluttering a spinner but usually do better by a deep slow retrieve.
Good Luck
