Prineville report?????

I am headed over to Prineville next weekend and would love to hear if anyone has done any good.
The ODFW page says that brown bullhead fishing should be excellent. Has anyone caught any?
Crappie?? Bass??

Last week the boat docks were still on the bank . I didn't hear any fishing reports .

I have fished the lake in May before and not been able to catch bass. However, we did catch tons of small crappie near the log booms. Also saw some people catching some nice trout. I tried hard for bass and caught none in areas that I normally do. Think the water was too cold. Good luck

I've had good luck there in May both with spinner and blade baits. At the start on one Tx, there was ice on the boat ramp; it made for a chilly blast-off.
Hit the coves and mouths of creeks where the flotsam has drifted. Bass will often be underneath it. Thirty years ago, I'd work a Rapala parallel with the front of the flotsam; now I'd try a backwards-dropping plastic such as a Fat Ika to scoot underneath it.
