View Full Version : Weekend Bassing Report (Now With Pics)

Well my brother-n-law and I hit one of my favorite local lakes this weekend. Had an awesome day on Saturday and a really tough day on Sunday. Saturday I caught just over 30 with numerous fish in the 2 to 2 1/2 lb range and one a few ounces shy of 3lb. Most of these fish were cookie cutter fish. Our goal was to catch a big fish on saturday, but just never happened. Brother-n-law had about 18 fish for Saturday. Caught at least one fish on everything we threw, but Sweet Beavers were the ticket for Saturday. Two biggest fish came of a lizzard and a deep running crank bait. Sunday was tough, windy and the fish were not on the bite like Saturday. We took a lot of pictures, so I will post some good ones up tomorrow.

Could not find the big ones. I kept thinking we would hit a few of the biggies, but no dice.
